Welcome to the launch of our new blog!
Greetings, and welcome to the launch of the Schick Shadel blog!
Our intention in creating a blog was to develop a forum which would allow the employees a way to connect with one another, as well as giving the patient population a sense of what's happening at the hospital. We also wanted to give patients exposure to a wide array of recovery related material.
If you are a current or former patient and you're reading this blog, we want you to know that posting on this blog is for employees only. You are, however, free to visit and reference as much as you like. We adhere to very strict confidentiality requirements at the hospital and are unable to allow patients access to post. While we would like this to be different, we know the trust you have placed in us is a gift, and we go to every length to protect your privacy. We know that most people would respect the confidentiality requirements; however, we are unable to take a chance that your confidentiality could be compromised. Should you like to have something added to the blog, please email the moderator at schickmoderator@gmail.com
Just a few housekeeping notes: this board is intended to be viewed by all sorts of people, staff and patients alike. We want users of this board to feel safe, and ask that all comments and content be aimed at a family audience. Please refrain from posting anything that would be seen as offensive and from any personal attacks. For your safety please do not list any personal information: phone number, email addresses, home address or other identifying information such as your instant messenger names and numbers.
This is an exciting time at the hospital. The hospital has seen many changes and is currently involved in a major face lift. We have hired various staff which not only complement the agency as a whole, but in doing so we have changed the culture of the hospital to make this a more dynamic place to treat and to work.
Please join us as we continue along our journey. While we know we are extremely effective in supporting people to create lasting change, we also know that we continue to thrive because of your involvement.
If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please feel free to email the moderator at schickmoderator@gmail.com
